Diocesan Secretary

The Diocesan Secretary is Francesca Del Mese, who has overall executive responsibility for diocesan administration and synod affairs. The department acts as the diocesan intermediary between parishes and national Church bodies, and administers clergy stipends, loans and grants. The Diocesan Secretary is assisted by Anne Steele, Pat Farmer and David Mason, who also oversees the main hub of the diocesan website and assists other departments and umbrella bodies with the current updating of their own sites.

The Diocesan Secretary’s office is usually able to provide advice on Church legislation.
