The Team

The core team consists of the full-time mission and renewal adviser, The Revd Richard Jackson, half-time liturgy and music consultant, The Revd Ian Forrester, full-time Christian stewardship officer, Mr Ian Clark, full-time diocesan evangelist, Captain Gordon Banks, honorary Growing Healthy Churches co-ordinator, Mr Peter Scofield, honorary spirituality consultant, The Revd Tony Fiddian-Green, Sacred Sussex development officer, Mrs Jane Hald, and the full-time team administrator, Mrs Jennie Davies.

The adviser works with Miss Mary-Jane Burkett and The Revd John Chitham who serve as volunteers to promote inter faith dialogue and the partnership of faith communities for the common good.

Mr John Head attends extended team meetings as representative of Bishop’s Council. The Revd David Beal serves as co-opted member. We liaise with the diocesan co-ordination group for healing ministry and its chairman, The Venerable Philip Jones and the diocesan overseas council officer, The Revd Canon Mark Payne. The Venerable Roger Combes is the watch and pray member of Bishop’s staff assigned to the mission and renewal team.
