Every project needs money - and there is plenty of money out there, the big problem is getting hold of it! Church in Society has access to a wide range of resources for locating funding and is experienced in writing funding bids for a wide range of situations.
The department acts as the local officer for the Church Urban Fund which offers capital and revenue funding for Christian social work in areas of deprivation (although funding is very limited in 2009) and can also offer grants of up to £5,000 for research and project development initiatives. Writing a funding bid can be a complex process; C.Soc can offer advice on writing an application.
