Abide in Christ, keep his commandments, and teach others to do so too. That’s where our own discipleship and our task as ministers coincide. What is the goal of our pastoral activity except that not one of those who have been entrusted to our care should in the awesome words of the ordinal “take any hurt or hindrance by reason of (our) negligence”?
